MARC YOUNGQUIST has over 40 years experience in the military, law enforcement, and the investigative field. Marc served for six years in the United States Marine Corps, with four years on active duty all over the Western Pacific. After retiring from law enforcement, Marc enlisted in the Army Reserve, and later transferred to the Army National Guard. During this time he served in Panama, the Dominican Republic, as 9/11 airport security, and finally in Western Baghdad.
After researching numerous charities, Marc decided on FIDELCO Guide Dog Foundation. Although each trained guide dog costs about $45,000, FIDELCO has provided Guide Dogs to disabled veterans at no cost. Several of those who received guide dogs are Veterans who were Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians (EOD) and lost their sight in Iraq and Afghanistan. All royalties Marc earns from sales of paperbacks and ebooks will be donated to FIDELCO.
CRIS Radio will be providing the recording facility and coaching needed to produce the audio book, and they will receive the profits from the sale of the audio book that Marc currently recording.
Both non-profits are located in Connecticut.
Marc has an Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and is a Graduate of the FBI National Academy. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and dogs, where he writes, builds kayaks, and pursues his love of photography.
